Vertical Reality Simulations, LLC was founded in 2004 by Jon Blum.
VRS provides consumer and commercial-level military simulation and
training software based on the Microsoft FS2004 and FSX platforms. Our unique approach to fly-by-wire modeling and control
law scheduling on micro-simulator platforms enables us to provide
accurate solutions costing many times less than traditional training
solutions of similar fidelity.
VRS's flagship product, the F/A-18E "Superbug"
has been one of the best-selling military add-ons in FS
history, and is currently being distributed for FSX in partnership with
PMDG
in some of the largest US electronics retailers, including
Walmart, Best Buy,
Fry's Electronics,
GameStop and MicroCenter.
Directions for the Future
In addition to continuing to enhance our Fly-by-wire
control systems, VRS is poised to bring the first true combat
capability to FSX and Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D platforms in both single
and multi-player environments through a series of modules we call
the TacPack. True object-based weapons systems simulation and radar
warning receiver integration will position the TacPack as the first
and only system of its kind to offer battle-ready simulation
combined with the expansive and accurate environments offered by the
FSX/Prepar3D™ platforms. The initial TacPack suite is scheduled for
release in Spring, 2011.

If you are a boxed product customer who purchased from a retail
store (not online), you may not be entitled to interactive
technical support in our forums without purcahsing a support option
from your customer page (see below). Most boxed
versions sold in the US in retail stores are heavily discounted and
therefore do not come with interactive technical support
subscriptions. You may still obtain activation related issue
support by emailing support (at) vrsimulations.com. Please
include your license ID and full name when emailing support.
If you would like to receive interactive forum support, but are currently
ineligible (i.e. you cannot post messages once registered for the
forums), a support option may be purchased from your
customer page at additional cost. Once you've
purchased a support upgrade, you can elevate your forum permissions
by visiting the
License Update page.
